New book – The Science of Michael Crichton

There is a book due to come out March 1, 2008:

Science of Michael Crichton: An Unauthorized Exploration into the Real Science behind the Fictional Worlds of Michael Crichton

It’s a collection of essays edited by Kevin Grazier, PhD, who is the science advisor for the Sci-Fi Channel series Battlestar Galactica and also works at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. Grazier has already edited a book titled The Science of Dune.

The book is out now! I bought a copy and it looks quite interesting. There's a nice introduction by the editor, Kevin Grazier. He admires Michael Crichton very much. I'll post more about the book later.
