On March 14, 2007 Michael Crichton took part in a public debate on global warming in New York City. Dr. Crichton, along with his team members Richard Lindzen and Philip Stott successfully argued their proposition “Global Warming Is Not A Crisis” with the audience voting 46.22% to 42.22% in their favor. The vote means that more people believed that "Global Warming is NOT a Crisis". That's a win for Crichton and company.
